






Lianhuachi Park is located in Fengtai District, on the east side of West Third Ring Middle Road and northeast of Liuliqiao. At the intersection of Fengtai, Haidian, and Xicheng districts, adjacent to Jingmen Xike Station, it is a first-class ancient heritage park in Beijing. It is the birthplace of Beijing, with the saying that "there was the Lotus Pond before the Beijing City", and has a history of over 3000 years. The newly built Lotus Pond Park in the 1980s covers an area of 53.6 hectares. Construction began in 1998 and officially welcomed visitors in December 2000.
